Hole 9

The Peninsula

Before you even play your tee shot, take time to look at the wonderful vista that stretches out over the large lake encompassing 5 of the golf courses holes. Back to the task at hand. The 9th tee shot is not a problem as the hole feeds downhill to the flat of a generous fairway. The green is positioned to the right and is located out on a peninsula, this is where many golfers find a watery grave due to water surrounding 70% of the green. A large green side bunker is nicely positioned on the left to catch the faint hearted who steer their shot away from the green to avoid going in the lake. This hole was included in the 2010 top 18 public holes to play in NSW.
