Hole 18
Harrison’s Revenge
This hole known as Harrisonʼs Revenge, named after course architect Bob Harrison who later became Greg Normanʼs chief golf course designer. It is the signature hole on the golf course measuring 370 metres and it is not hard to see why. The hole requires a drive down the centre, out of bounds guards the right and water down the left. A drive that is a little too far right will leave the golfer with the option to lay up closer to the lake and playing a third to the green or run the risk of hitting a metal or long iron over the large expanse of water to reach the green in two. Once on the green, putting is made difficult by the undulations.
